Quiz: What’s Your Favorite Detox Service?

Please don’t beat yourself up if you overindulged during the holidays.  Simply schedule some time with us, we’ve got a list of services that will help you detox and replenish.

The Best Place for Post-Holiday Detox is with Esthetics by P Brown

Here’s a list of our Detox Services:

Infrared Sauna

Our Infrared Sauna offers so many benefits, whether you are detoxing, cleansing, or resetting your health goals, your end result will be an exhilarating experience.  If you have ever spent time in an infrared sauna, then you know exactly what I am talking about; however, if you haven’t, then I invite you to step into ours, especially after the holidays and experience the healing—that awaits you.

Herbal Steam Sauna

The Herbal Steam Sauna is a step above the Infrared Sauna.  It occurs in either a steam unit or in the Infrared Sauna.  The difference is that essential oils are added to the sauna experience to aid in detoxification and relaxation.

Yoni Steam

The Yoni Steam will not only help your body detox, but it will also help balance your hormones.  You’ll sit over the herbs in a heated unit that will help pull the toxins out of your yoni and your body as you sweat.  Women say this services leaves them absolutely revived!

Reiki Detox

Another option for detox is through a Reiki service.  Reiki is a holistic energy treatment that aids in relaxation and stress reduction.  Reiki helps reduce the flow of negative energy surrounding you and can help bring you back to an authentic calm and mindset.

Massage Therapy

For a more hands on detox, schedule an appoint with one of our Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs).  Our LMT’s will manipulate the muscles in your body to help your body do more than detox.  Massage therapy can help relieve pain, heal injuries, knead out knots, improve circulation, reduce other stress points in the body, and (literally)help the body relax.

Organic Refresh Facial

Schedule a facial for a detox for your face.  There are so many benefits linked to facials that there’s not enough space to name them all.  Here are some basics: facials increase circulation, help improve the skins ability to remain hydrated, help fight against free radicals and the aging process and allows for the renewal of skin cells.

So, regardless of the detox service you choose, our aim as always is to make your experience relaxing, replenishing and rejuvenating.  You’ll definitely want to keep your body hydrated during any of these services because your body will be flushing toxins continually.

I hope this was helpful.  If you have any questions regarding any of our services, please feel free to contact us.  We can be reached by phone at (615) 884 – 6744 or email us at estheticsbypbrown@yahoo.com.

Pamper Yourself with Massage Therapy

Are you feeling tired, achy, slothful, just out of it?  Come see us, let one of our LMT’s work out your kinks.  If you haven’t ever experienced a massage at Esthetics by P Brown, then it’s time for you to schedule one.

What is Massage Therapy?

Massage therapy is a treatment where a trained professional (Licensed Massage Therapist – LMT) manipulates the muscles in your body to helps relieve pain, heal injuries and mainly helps you relax.

Our LMTs help knead out knots, improve circulation, reduce other stress points in the body, and (literally)help the body relax.

What Should I Expect During a Massage Session?

When the session starts, you can get as comfortable as you’d like and we make sure you’re covered by a sheet draping along where needed.   Our LMT’s are trained professionals and if you choose to undress, it usually makes it a better, more effective appointment because sometimes undergarments can get in the way of the LMT getting to certain pressure points or making the long strokes in your muscles.

Pressure is often added to help reduce pain in the body.  Frequently our LMT’s will lubricate your skin with massage oil/lotion and add massage strokes to warm and work the muscles so they can help release the tension which allows for the LMT to give a deeper tissue massage. Depending on how tight your muscles are, there may be a little discomfort as the LMT works on the muscle, but overall, it should be a relaxing treatment.  And if you happen to feel pain, please speak up and inform the LMT.

Following the massage, you’ll want to drink a lot of water to continue to flush toxins.  You may want to get a massage more frequently than once a year, if possible, you’ll want to get a massage every 4-6 weeks and it would definitely benefit you to make it a part of your long-term wellness routine.  Getting your muscles loosened frequently may help reduce injury.

At Esthetics by P Brown, you have the option of scheduling your massage in as small as 30 minutes or up to 120 minutes.  The longer the massage, the longer the LMT has to work out the tension in your body.

I hope this was helpful.  For more information about our services or if you would like to schedule an appointment, please feel free to schedule with us on our website: www.estheticsbypbrown.com.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at (615) 884 – 6744 or email us at estheticsbypbrown@yahoo.com.
